I have been saving up for a jumbo box. I checked in Topps Now to see if they had a Skenes card of him in the ASG. There was a Shohei relic card /125 or less for $399. I now need to save up for a jumbo box, again. Bought the relic and a 5 pack of Skenes. Figured the Shohei was going to be a better hit than what I would get in a jumbo. Basically the same price.

Like to watch the breaks. I stopped collecting 20 years ago. Listening to the prices given out I’m sure I’m priced out of this hobby. Not sure how kids are even in the hobby anymore. How many kids have $450 to spend on $100 worth of cards? Not many I’m sure.

So the deal is if you aren’t a breaker spending BIG you aren’t hitting anything. Literally I’ve ripped 2 boxes and have the worst autos I’ve ever seen. 4 relief pitchers and 1/4 has a 24.30 ERA. Hot garbage sadly for us small timers
