Card backs are way too often neglected. When I was a kid I was much more interested in learning about the players and stats than anything else. I agree about having the logo on the front - it's a must for me.

The issue with that is we have the internet, anything you’d like to know can be searched and you don’t need to rely on the back of a card. We know what these dudes had for dinner and what kind of car their GF drives, let alone needing to wonder about their BA or HRs.

Personally I love the design. Nice white borders and I think the parallels will look cool. Going to look amazing in chrome also and it should grade better than black borders. Great design in my opinion and I can’t wait to open a couple of boxes and seeing the 90 set in the silver packs.

I like the design. It is pretty solid. These cards with a chrome finish will look sweet. Really like the Barry Bonds cards. Glad he is back in the hobby.

Wow. The Bonds Pirates auto looks absolutely amazing. Not crazy about the box cover tho. Looks a little too close to last years series 1. I collect and display sealed boxes so box design and box size/configurations are a big things for me and ppl like me

A- .... If the position was actually old school letter abbreviation (P, LF,C, etc...) but inside the field logo that is in lower right it would be an A

A++ for the new design, I hated that black area on the top of the 2024 design that would always get tiny pieces or cardboard stuck in it. I like the white border but then also the 2 tone color of the team on just a very tiny area of the edges.

I'd say a B as well. Decent font size. Nice colors. 2024 had a great design, IMO, so that's why no higher than a B. The checklist will need to have Dylan Crews, James Wood, and Ben Rice for sure. A lot of big names will be with new teams for S2, hopefully some other rookies will join Sasaki there.

I think id grade it a B. My 2 gripes are the team name(not sure i like it sideways, needs to be more prominent imo) and the ribbon running from top right to bottom left(seems unnecessary/no baseball relation). White border, player names, team logo and position in corner i like. Thats my 1st impression.

As usual these 2025 cards will have a high price tag on them that will cause some collectors to cringe, not fair, topps and others need to have decent prices for, some what alright cards! Now I could see if they have a special edition costing a little more money,but regular edition topps shouldn’t cost a fortune, 😂
