My theory is that these random flankers were made in a couple batches and didn't make it to market, so they're being dumped into discounters and rack stores. Just a guess.

I haven’t gotten my nose on STARWALKER extreme as of yet but if I find these in the wild I’ll probably do a review then a giveaway. I’m not into keeping a bunch of fragrances I don’t care for or reach for much these days. I’ll do a giveaway. It’s sad though that a house such as Mont Blanc that’s well respected in the fragrance world is releasing lackluster fragrances now and with no advertising or anything which is super odd.

Kinda hard to have Mont Blancs back right now. Individuel was a loved frag by many. Shame how they did this to the name. I'm a big Starwalker fan and was disappointed in the Extreme flanker as I wanted a more extreme version. The fragrance itself, however, isn't bad at all. My wife loves it and I find the dry down very pleasant. I'm just hoping they haven't thrown in the towel and will step it up in the future. Excellent video as always. Thanks for sharing.

Saw this pop up on IG and was like whaaaaaaaaaaaat. Crazy. Just like Starwalker Extreme, no info anywhere. Very soon we're going to need a category for these types of releases that companies apparently want to sweep under the rug. The RugRats 😂 Misfits, Castaways or Perfume Pariahs. Or my personal favourite - STDs. Straight-To-Discounters. 🤣

Individuel Tonic by Montblanc is a Amber Woody fragrance for men. Individuel Tonic was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre Bourdon. Top notes are Rosemary, Juniper Berries, Coriander, Cinnamon, Bergamot, Cardamom, Lavender, Pineapple and Mint; middle notes are Geranium, Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Violet; base notes are Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Musk, Vetiver, Patchouli, Vanilla, Raspberry, Dark Chocolate and Amber.

I want to actually own this and smell it maybe purchase two, as I did with walker extreme which I also don’t like and found for $20 bucks. You never know once they disappear this may be a pretty penny and hype.

I just picked up 2 bottles of star walker extreme at tj max . $24 each. I really like the smell is not bad at all . Its not mind blowing or niche quality. Obviously. But it’s a great smelling! Worth the price especially because it is a hidden unicorn 🦄

I understand this video is 5 months old but I found out when was Mont Blanc Individuel Tonic released, the nose behind it, and all the notes in the fragrance: "Mont Blanc Individuel Tonic Perfume is a Woody Oriental fragrance for Men. Individuel Tonic was launched in 2018. The Nose behind this fragrance is Pierre Bourdon. I think a few fragrance houses are holding off on Advertising/Fanfare and seeing what online reviewers say. Honest review I will stick with Explorer.

Sad to see it seems like a let down, my favorite MB that recently released was Legend EDP way better than Explorer and Explorer Ultra Blue as far as recent releases imho.

Like the fade Tommy I purchased this fragrance from a store in Miami I don't get that household cleaner smell I definitely get a fresh smell from it and little bit of a dill smell from it but it's not bad.

im in Europe , Portugal .... and i never heard about this fragrances, in my countrie frag shops they don´t even exist and i was thinking , and if you are buying fakes that are suposed to be new frags by montblanc ?

Perhaps this was shelved due to Individuel being a commercial flop (before being a hit with KZbin influencers), I don't care for Individuel but I do like most Monblanc scents I've smelled. Azzaro Wanted Tonic is nice, I don't get the hate for that one, just a simple hot weather scent, very refreshing.

Already is. It went straight to rack stores. My guess is that it never made it to market and they only had a batch or two made so they dumped it.

I bought Starwalker on a You Tubers say so. $21 for a 2.5 Tester. Super cheap by doesn't do anything for me. Cremo Spice Black and Vanilla is under $ 17 on Amazon Subscribe and Save for 3.4 oz and is very similiarvto SpiceBomb Extreme and Halloween Man X

Strange MB is doing this or even have this. I have three opinions on this type of ploy or what’s going on with this and flankers of emblem and star walker extreme, all strange releases without marketing. One reason is that these weren’t worth to do a big marketing for and MB wanted to rid them and sent to discount stores because they changed art direction or the fragrance head department in the house and it was best to have them sold off then to spend more money on marketing when the fragrance probably wasn’t what they are going for now direction wise with the company or had a different art direction. Another possible reason is they are trying out the market without marketing. By having some batches out instead of putting full marketing and money and many bottles manufactured in case the direction is not what they are going for or to damage the brand. Many companies do this and see how people react especially with people using social media And KZbin and see if it’s worth real easing it fully or reformulating. That shows them if the original fragrance has enough of a targeted audience to hit with other flankers or if it’s dead and they don’t spend more time and money bringing back the original reformulated or new variations. Either that or these were only a few made and or limited and want to create a secret hype that maybe and ironically since they are hard to find, maybe once they are harder to find, they will be collectors or go up in price and be sought after. That is one marketing strategy many companies practice.

The soap/detergent industry has been using fragrances for a long time. I'm sure there's lots of crossovers. That's a whole industry where they have rooms of washers and dryers and they contently try different compounds in test loads of laundry for R&D and then use focus groups of women to smell and give their opinions. It's big money.

The new Mont Blanc frags are nothing more than holiday dump money grabs. It's less than 2 months from Christmas and with no fanfare here comes two Mont Blancs. Red flag for most Frag heads. Forget the price just buy solid Frags with information to back them up.
