I first saw Chinatown in the seventies on my parents first color TV on Showtime. That movie and The Last Picture Show showed me what a movie was capable of.

Definitely looking forward to getting my copy of ‘Chinatown/Two Jakes.’ Two classics in one package. As for Robert Harling, who wrote the play and screenplay for ‘Steel Magnolias,’ he also played the minister who married Shelby and Jackson. He also gets more screen time with one of the deleted scenes. ‘Steel Magnolias’ is, without a doubt, one of the best movies ever!
