Hi, it's called a module strap pouch 😎It's for holding your phone, tools and other small items. You can purchase this separately from the backpack and easily detach and reattach it when you need it.

It's a sliding surface anyway. The paint will rub off of there the first time you use it

Love knipex but those pipe cutters just cant compete against kopex. In real world you dont spin the pipe that often and have to spin the tool. The continual adjustment just winds me up when used to the kopex. Plus the kopex is more compact for tight spaces. I will say tha the res of my tool bag is dominated by knipex irega and felo
