The E-wing is from legends lore. They look exactly like this save one difference: the legends version has R7 units stored internally instead of outside. It's definitely a star fighter. The droid in the back assists with hyperspace calculation, independent flight, various calculations, on board repairs ... And company on long flights. I haven't bought a ship in decades ... But I got this one because ... 😊I wanted the droid! Great video.

@@artstudent1255 yes I assume they are space fairing just saying we have yet to see one do so in the established canon as of now and these ones could be a simpler model used for patrol purposes on the planet. Curious if KE4-N4 is a new R series droid or if it's just an existing one with a dome swap. they have given us several new droid some designs over the years but have yet to officially add new numberings to any they just have random designations

@JonRunner88. I love Ke4. I hope we see more of them. It's such a cool design to just throw away and never use again. I wonder if they are a modified R2, or a totally different type of astromech.
