A lot of the Exploitation of International Students is Committed by Members of Their Own Community Group, whether it is Bogus Training Academies and Certification, inadequate / slumlord housing and part -time / low - wage employment, it is quite often their own community that knows their Vulnerabilities / Insecure status in Canada. International students remain ripe for Exploitation in Housing and Low-Wage Jobs. However, It does not help either if the same International students produce TikTok Videos, bragging about the "Free Food" they've wrangled from the hard-pressed Food Bank system. I dont think "bad actor" students are aware of the Resentment they have (inadvertently) caused here. So I think the International Student Community needs to do some Soul Searching, some Housekeeping and Self Critique about the Problems they are facing in Canada.

Greetings J.W, I think you are pointing some less known facts that some groups are not aware. I came to Canada in 2015 as student but since my program was fast paced I could not work 20 hours. I decided to focus on studies, lived in shared accommodations and cut lot of expenses. That was the only way to get trough. Second year I was able to find part time job - 16 hours per week. It was really hard for me to find this job - lots of competition for part time jobs at the time. Saying all this is to encourage young people to anticipate additional expenses and seatbacks in country they never lived before. Ela
