I think you may have been AVGN-pilled with thinking Nightmare on Elm Street is a bad game. It's pretty fun if you know what your doing. And even more fun if you have three other people to play with.

I rented it as a kid and didn't like it. Me and my brother played it together that weekend it was rented. Didn't see the AVGN episode well into my 20s.

@@RetrocorePodcast Try it again. It's got cheap deaths and the map can be confusing but it's very fun. I never played it as a kid because I always assumed it was bad. Mostly because of the graphics.
