I have two of the 130 X speeds, one weighs 152 and the other 154g. So actually lighter than the 125 that Paul is hitting. I seem to have saved myself £20 because of Tecnifibre's tollerances...

Yes the Tecnifibre X-Speed was two generations newer than the Carboflex basaltex. The latest model in the Carboflex range is now the X-Top.

I found the 135 at 80 euros. Is this a good deal? Should i buy it? I play squash for 2 years, but at a casual level(I am playing mostly with my gf). Or do you have any recommendation in this price range?

How heavy is the 130 strung

I play Tecnifibre Carboflex 125S (Mohamed's). That's quite heavy racket (157 g with strings). What's the real weight of the new model? Do you feel the balance is the same for the new and old model?

it weighed 155 grams on my scales, there is not much difference from the 125s, the bumper strip is different and it now comes with iblades. I couldn't tell you there is a massive performance increase with this racket but I really love it and am using it, it is working wonders for my game :) Don't buy this racket expecting a big change from previous models, a lot of people are buying this because they do not already own a carboflex or like me they want the latest racket :) thanks

Great reviw. For a beginner that wants to evolve in the game, which one you recommend? I am thinking between the 130 and 135 as I don't have a strong shot yet, but I am concerned that with the 135 I would lose too much control. And which one is more forgiveble? As a begginer this is very important. Thanks

thank you for the feedback, maybe the 135, there is not a massive difference in the weight and the 135 has the thicker shaft for more power and forgiveness. You still get the good feel from the Carboflex 135 so should be fine. The only thing you loose is the racket speed of the lighter models, but you need to have good racket control to use the lighter models effectively
