do you ever fish this weightless?

@clancymcintyre3241 i personally haven't but it seems like it would swim fine without a weight. I typically use these along the bottom so adding weight is a must for me. If using them for largemouth, it seems like they wouldn't need a weighted hook when fishing shallow cover. Hope that helps.
