This it old video someone commented few months ago now they have air side transfer facilities available but again its not an official coment, i think is best check with your airline, they must have latest information

It should be fine, as T5 is domestic only so no immigration and also its nit that big airport, but one thing I strongly recommend don’t waste any time as two hours are kind of edge to edge already,

on destination, usually they ask you on your first flight where you want to collect your luggage we choose our final destination, and it was there, so there is no need to collect at Riyadh

2 hours is good time as its just 10 minutes away T4 to T5 but depends how much it take on immigration, but still i think you will get ample time, changing ihram hardly takes couple of minutes

Rules are always changing so best advise is to check with your airline for latest or present rules, last time when i checked yes you need transit visa, now I heard they allow terminal transfers from air side, but again do check with airline

T1 to 4 seems in same building so it shouldn't be any issue, but T5 is in separate building where you need to take a bus to transfer, but i think you should check with airline as some people had issue depending in their passports

Yes you have to go through security process once again, and in some cases if you flying towards Europe you might need to go through security process at your gate as well

They will ask you at abba where you want to collect your luggage at final destination or in Riyadh? You can tell them Your choice, even if they don’t ask you yourself can double check with them about your choice

my personal experience was different i was coming from terminal 5 (domestic terminal) to T4, there was passport control on T4, but in your case you are going from T2 to 3 they both are international and are in same building, in this case usually if you travelling same airline you might not to go through passport control, but if you elaborate little more like where you coming from and where you are going to? this may be helpful to find more accurate answer,

Usually when you do check in at madina airport they will ask you where you want to collect your luggage so you can tell them you want to collect at final destination which is Islamabad, even if they don’t ask you, you can tell them yourself, any confusion you can ask me i’ll try my best to answer according to my best knowledge

Haven’t been on terminal 2 but these both are in same building, so no experience of lounges, but on T4 there wasn’t any lounge as it was just opened when I travelled may be they have now

Just been there and just wanted to update here: it's unfortunately not possible to reach T2 from T4.. from T4 you can go to T3 and there is a lounge. But you can access to the lounge only 4h before your departure

@@BeyondBordersByKhizar Airside is after security checkpoint. Landside is before security. He's asking if it's possible to go from T4 to T2 without going through security again. T4 doesn't have a lounge for passengers with long layovers to sleep. But T2 does.

Yes you have to go through immigration, as far my knowledge unless they have changed something very recently, which airline are you travelling with and which passport are you carrying? They have different rules for different passports but I strongly recommend to call your agent or airline directly to check most recent rules as Saudia is changing visa rules for different countries,

If your final destination is Jeddah then you must have saudia visa anyways, i think in you case they will do immigration at Riyadh airport then will transfer to T5 which is domestic terminal and then you’ll go to jeddah, At mumbai airport you can request them to take your luggage all the way to Jeddah, if they agreed it will save hassle of collecting luggage and boarding again,

to be honest I couldn't find any clear information, but there is one good thing transit or stopover visa are free and you can book online using following official link, you may be able to find more information on this site, i used same site to apply my and family visit visa, whole process was very simple and strait forward www.visitsaudi.com/en/saudi-stopover?lang=en as it is free so i personally think its better to apply and have it, as you can see in this video terminal 4 and 5 are far from each other and you must need to go out unless they have some special arrangements, i hope this answer will help you, anything else feel free to ask me cheers
