I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

@@ainakunigelyte i prefer Mai Tai and French Rose over Crystal Slipper. I even prefer Maiden’s Blush over it. The first two apply smoothly and the colors suit me better. The last two are more reddish. Crystal Slipper has a dryer formula and applies dry on as well. I eaither can’t see it or I over apply it and end up with this reddish/patchy/dry finish. My skin is very fair with neutral undertones. I’m NC5 in MAC. I have normal/sensitive skin. Maybe a mixt T zone (nose are oily, chin , an oil-dry mess).

Charlotte turned me onto these last year. I absolutely love them on my grown-up skin. You don’t need a highlighter which is good news you get the look of a highlighter without any glitter… So pretty. I have Mai Tai and Sangria … The owner Rosemarie or is it Rose Mary …🤔 anyway, her video shorts of her products makes you want to buy everything from the brand. I also bought the little pot of the soft iridescent luminous product which you use as a highlighter again without the glitter. It’s OK I think it was $40. I thought it was overpriced, the pigment is very light but that’s also what makes it nice it’s not noticeable unless you are out in the sun or under soft lighting.

I have French Rose already, and really like it. The color and the creamy feel of the blush is so good. I think I wouldn’t mind having the Bohemian Girl shade-it really speaks to my inner 1970s “hippie” self! The peachy color is perfect-not too punchy, but still shows a light wash of color on my fair skin. I wanted to love Maiden’s Blush, but it came across too dark, so the Crystal Slipper might be a better fit. Thanks so much for the comparisons and all the info, Charlotte! (Btw: my youngest son and his girlfriend will be having their first daughter-my 1st granddaughter-and they’ve decided her name is to be Charlotte Olivia!💖 Her due date is Aug. 18th-so excited to meet her!)

Hello, I bought my first RMS Blush, Crystal Slippers, and I have to say that although I have a very light skin color (redhead) I find the tone quite light. I really love the consistency of the blush. My tip so that you don't need too long to build up the blush: Just use a foundation brush, that way I get the intensity I want. You can of course build it up with a blush brush, but that took me too long ;-D I can imagine buying other shades :-) All the best, Maria

I prefer Bohemian Girl because it’s a bit brighter. I have French Rose and Maidens blush. I have fair neutral skin so I lean towards slightly cooler tones. They are both gorgeous!❤❤❤❤❤

Bohemian girl reminds me of a coral blush I used to love from a mineral makeup company could no longer find the mica color created but it gave the most wonderful subtle peachy glow.

On me, Maiden's Blush works well as a bronzer. these new shades are lovely, can't wait to get them! Also love how sheer and buildable they are, making all the shades super wearable for a wider variety of skin tones.

Oh Charlotte, if you love a glowy cheek you have to try the Melt Cosmetics Glazed Skin Finishing Powder. I love the way it makes my cheek area so glowy no matter what blush I use. I have oily skin and still the luminosity is not too much for my taste. I can’t believe I have not seen more reviews on it. I’m obsessed.

I think RMS might be leaving Sephora (at least in the US). I don’t know for sure, but I have a feeling based on how all the stock is disappearing and is often discounted for no specific reason.

Well now I have to get both of these. I wasn’t sure how it would show on medium skin tones and it’s stunning. I have maidens blush, French rose, Mai tai, and sangria. Mai tai and sangria are my favorites so far. I also use them as eyeshadows and they work great for that as well. I prefer a natural look but I do love color so this is probably my favorite product on the market right now.

I'm older too, so I can have texture issues. The Armani, Dior and Chanel blushes are very nice for diffuse color. Also, if you ever have wanted a highlighter that doesn't show a lot of texture, hands down the best I've found are the Cle de Peau Luminizers. So pretty and I wear them on my eyes sometimes. More expensive, but superb quality powders. The UK has them (see Charlotte's affiliate links) as does both Macys and Nordstrom in the US. Other retailers may too, but Macys and Nordstrom take returns for makeup only gently used, in case you don't love it. Good luck, Beauty! 💚

These blushes have mica has the first ingredient. I love glowy blushes but I hate sparkle on my face. I tried a couple of shades but they failed the cell phone flash light test, it lit up this iridescent rainbow on my cheeks, and I’m outside (& very casual) too much for that. I’m sure these are nice at night. Love your videos though, and the new shades look really tempting.

I appreciate the review on these blushes, especially since I just ordered a few. I may be a little late on the RMS blush-wagon but they do look lovely and am looking forward to trying them. Your review was 7 months ago and I was wondering if they are still a favourite for you. By the way, you have a lovely ring, and of course it's just my opinion but I think it would look even more flattering for the stone and the hand if the teardrop shape was worn with the pointed end up towards the fingertips instead of down as you are wearing here. visually the teardrop shape is more balanced with the rounded edge at the bottom and point on top. Oh wow!! Before your video, I'd written off Crystal Slipper completely. I was planning to get the other 2 new shades....but crystal slipper is gorgeous! It gives me grown and sexy vibes! I love the way these blushes have a nice light shimmer to them. I just have the plum hankey panky shade. I much prefer glowy blushes to matte. If you have other glowy blush recs I would love to hear them :)
