New ( Rodless Reel ) - Site fishing for Carp with Bread | Handline Fishing

In this video I use the new Rodless Reel - Handline Fishing Reel to catch a pretty decent common carp. I used Wonder Bread balled up on a small hook and 8 lb mono, no sinkers.
These new reels work great and look awesome! All metal construction. Great for EDC Bugout bags and Camping Trips.

that's a silky smooth cast at 0:17, what line are you using?

I've been really digging Academy's h20 xpress mono in 8and 10lb. It's really cheap yet stretchy and nice to use. I also like Trilene xl in low lb, but this h20 xpress I have to say works better.

Funny because i've been going for much larger carp in another spot and when I hook one the fights going to take a month!
