I think it would be a mistake for any company to develop a special military quad-copter drone now, at least if it is more expensive that the simple, civilian off-the-shelve options used in Ukraine. The whole point is that those things are cheap and plentiful. So making a special military version that maybe is 10 or 20% better but costs 3 or more times as much would be stupid.

They successfully managed to completely obliterate one of the biggest advantages of these types of drones; the cheap price tag. US MIC really be like: "How can we make this as expensive as inhumanly possible?" The rest is just marketing to excuse the fact that it's suddenly 100x more expensive while delivering only like 1.1x the performance.
