New Roland GAIA 2 - "Skywards" - demo by gattobus

Here is my first song with the new Roland GAIA 2!
All the sounds you hear in this video, including FX, are coming from GAIA 2, except for the drums track where I used a 808 Kit ZEN-Core Kit.
The song was recorded on 5 separate tracks and then played back live using Zenbeats App on iPad
iPad Air is connected to GAIA 2 via USB-C and it's also powering the instrument.
This is a perfect combo for outdoors music production!!!
I had so much fun playing this song!

This is the 1st demo that is showing what the synth is capable of, not because other channels cannot demonstrate it's capabilities, but you have given us a live performance, and that's more important to me. I don't think the patches are that great what I have heard, but it's what you have shown in a real demo what can be achieved. I bought a JDXA because of your demos, I sold it too because I found that it wasn't for me, but the GAIA2, if it is priced right, could be a nice addition to my gear. It has nice sized keys, a great sequencer, but more importantly the motional pad. Thanks for the upload.

So you don’t think the patches you heard are that great, and you bought a JDXA yet sold in because it wasn’t for you…I can sense history repeating itself again and all because you heard a catchy song. A talented musician can make great music with anything. I’m not that, I know my limits and know my needs/wants. Do you know yours? Doesn’t sound like it.

@@X22GJP you missed the whole point the JDXA was menu divey, this is not. I am looking specifically at the Motional pad and the record time, then add in all the other sequencer specs. If you missed this part of live perf, that's on you. I know my limits, but it's clear you don't know what my limits are. Having looked at your channel, you have zero content, which says more about you and your lack of understanding, as you were.

​@@XenoxParticularSound and you're no musician at all. Gattobus was on time, but since you're NOT accustomed to performing music, you can't tell. In EDM and techno, we sometimes need to offset the bass notes that land on the same downbeats as the kick so the two do not interfere with each other. And it sounds fine, better than sync'd. Perfectly sync'd isn't always best in every second of an EDM track, it depends on the content.

You can give constructive feedbacks on the sound, the sonicality, the production, mixdown, mastering, etc. But a composition is never ever to be judged, ever. Some will like it, others will not, to each their own. Instead, try to focus on the type of sounds it can produce which from what you're saying, is what you were after. So, do you like the type of sounds the Gaia 2 can do or nah?
