If they do the Amtrak Genesis, I think it would fit well if they also did a partnership with Metra with one of their many lines out of Chicago, so it could be similar to NEC: NY-Trenton where you have commuter services and also express services. Plus the MP36PH-3C Baby Bullet and F59PHR are used on Metra which of course already exist on the Metrolink and the Baby Bullet on Peninsula Corridor (Sadly I believe the Baby Bullet is in retirement due to electrification, same with the F40PH.) Can’t forget the amount of freight services from BNSF and other carriers as Chicago is considered the “Railroad Hub of America”

I'm concerned about the timetable update on Köln to Aachen, in the sense that I don't want it to be another laggy mess like New York to Trenton was (and how Frankfurt to Fulda still is).

So they ever gonna do any route where we can see a p42 in use? Miami - WPB? Empire service hell the racetrack? Like dont get me wrong i like all the US routes we have currently but for starters content for amtrak outside the NEC is just very much lacking. Amtrak california or again wpb routes they have done for classic (albeit long ago) they havent touched in world. Or just more freight routes on the east coast possibly? (Again WPB would really be a good canidate). I love commuter trains i really do but intercity trains like amtrak or more routes that maybe involve NS or CSX would really really intrest me

I love 1980 WCML in train sim world one of the best routes every in game. Good as the Blackpool route they two are the top two routes in the game. Know Mildmay Line: London Overground Stratford to Willesden Junction is not a big route but is done by one person do look really nice. But wish it was Richmond and Kpam and the train does look nice. But lengths stop me from getting it. But do like the look of the Christmas train.

Not going to happen, they just implemented our only way to Hop, and it will stay that way. There has been literally no hints at all from DTG, and simply just wishful thinking from players.

Mergers wouldn't be technically possible. The only way is to rebuild the entire thing as one each time the next section comes out and the price would get exponentially larger each time

@@QAGamer yep but that could just be a bridge until they get mergers right and there have been things like “this will be something nice to talk about for the holidays” or “we’ve been waiting to tell you about this” just paraphrasing but i wouldn’t be super pessimistic maybe they care about fans after all 😂

@@potatoman451 I considered the challenges before suggesting this, but they could release the routes separately like now. If you have two or more compatible routes, they could automatically merge, keeping the pricing consistent. Then dtg would just need to rebuild the timetable and adjust some scenery at the transition points. As game developers, this is their job, and it’s not too much to ask, in my opinion. While there are challenges, it’s certainly possible.

@@JayKLA97 It's not as simple as automatically merging and everything works perfectly. Signals and simulation stop working and many other things. That's like rebuilding the route. it's not as easy as you make it sound

what we really need is a complete amtrak and njt fleet with more routes for both of them, its not balanced, there are more german and UK routes than us commuter trains.

The issue is there is nobody to create US content. It's only dtg. There's no 3rd parties and then players will get bored and annoyed if dtg only released nec and njt for the next years

In my opinion this gameplay pack is the worst one ever released yet with one reskinned wagon, some assets for the San bernadino line and a completely reused layer for Frankfurt-Fulda with no changes whatsoever and I bet they are going to sell it for 15.99€

Far as I'm concerned Dovetail' is a complete utter disappointment I mean we don't even have the Genesis in the game and that's without a doubt one of the most popular Amtrak locomotives of all time😂 makes ne wonder if they are just blatantly brain dead and don't realize this or or if it's a conscious decision to stupidly leave out one of the most popular locomotives of all time. I'm sure the announcement on December 20th will be that TSW6 is in development 😅😂
