Since there are HUNDREDS of different cards with millions of different deck possibilities... Something, somewhere on ladder will always find a way to hard counter you! Nothing is completely safe BUT if you play top-tier cycle decks well enough you can be a slippery sir and outplay any bad matchup & win it. The best players win the worst matchups by making opponents make mistakes. Focus on playing a good deck you like and learn how to play it & level it up, instead of searching for "the deck with 0 counters." You'll progress a LOT faster. Also here's the advice I give to EVERYONE that's a free to play player wanting to progress faster: you should play classic challenges & all the challenges that are free to try to level up your cards! You get free gems & ONLY spend them on classic challenges, playing them for fun cause all the card levels are fair there + you get to try new decks out! When you get gold + cards from there ONLY level up ONE deck at a time so you can concentrate your resources & you'll learn the deck faster too

The reason that no goblins appeared after the goblin hut was destroyed was because the princess shot and hit the goblins the instant the hut was destroyed.

Jake at 1:02 the princess got a shot off before she died and when your opponent fireballed the hut the spear goblins that spawned when it was destroyed were killed by the arrows not sure if he timed that perfectly or was pure luck

At the beginning the Goblin hut had the princess fire on it as the fireball landed. Fireball killed hut, Princess killed spawned goblins. :)
