Actually, there is a much closer comparison available. Check out German history when Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1919. Hence, our Adolf Trump rose to power in Jan. 2017 with all the signs of transforming our country to a fascistic superpower, locking up children, going after immigrants, hatred against minorities, signs of restricting freedom of the press, and creating hatred throughout the world. And according to Kimberly Guilfoyle “the best is yet to come”. Hence, vote (best in person if possible) and/or vote early, but please vote as if your life depends on it.

appnp I don’t know really how it works, or doesn’t as the case may be, in your country, but in Canada, I received my voting card for the last federal election, and it listed all of the polling stations nearby to my address. And, I’m sure in this day and age there is a website or app available. You need to vote for your own sake, but this nonsense is affecting other countries too.

Cat-my state is doing all mail in ballots this time so I'm not worried for myself. Just areas where people are being denied mail-in ballots or where folks have to wait all day long in line to vote because they only have one polling place in their town or city. America is one of the few countries not to have a national holiday for voting. Even rarer, we have it on a workday. In many countries voting is mandatory by law, though rarely is it enforced. The point is that most countries do everything they can to increase voter turnout, but the opposite is true in America.

Though well-intentioned, this is not a good idea. What the USPS does during Christmas dwarfs a mail-in ballot election, and 'junk mail' is big money for USPS. Don't worry about the ballots getting in, worry about the ballots getting counted.

The problem with that idea is that the majority of my mail is inbound. Mostly bills or overwhelmingly junk mail. It's gotta be 10 to 1. I've voted via mail in California since the Obama administration and never had an issue but. I do live in Riverside County so this year I'm a little worried I might not get my ballot.

The mail is essentially a less scented version of the sewage system. Absolutely categorically necessary, people have to deal with it every minute. Some things come through it that really shouldn't. But moreover, if you had a bad sewage system the entire country, if not the world, would be distraught and angry in a heartbeat. If you are wrong, you could be a bot spreading dis-information before the vote. If you have a link with verifiable information I would appreciate it if you posted it. I will use Fed Ex, the best and most reliable package courier on Earth. DHL and UPS are reasonably reliable but I've heard some really lame excuses out of UPS.

Don't stop using the mail! My brother works at a large sorting center. A quarter to half their sorting equipment is idle because of the low volume during the pandemic recession! That's why it's being removed or relocated! Use mail more so they maintain capacity and keep equipment running. Thank you. Vote for Joe. Don't wait till the last minute.
