New Runway Designation Markings at Katowice Airport |

In the night from 5 to 6 October 2022, the runway designation markings at Katowice Wojciech Korfanty Airport changed. Numbers 2 7 and 0 9 have been replaced by 2 6 and 0 8. In this episode of our vlog, we explain what is a runway designation marking, how is it assigned and why we had to change the markings at KTW. In this video, we also show the process of changing the identification markings, and what the movement area looks like after the change.
