In spite of some of the comments from self-appointed electrical engineers who troll videos, expressing negativity and just hoping some like-minded viewer will give them the coveted "thumbs-up", I think you video did exactly what you intended. You demonstrated its uses, capabilities and effectiveness to those like me who are considering buying one. Frankly I'm surprised the trolls have time for us here. As much as we all appreciate their wisdom, insight and electrical prowess, I would think they would be busy on the lecture circuit, educating the less-learned, while turning down offers daily from M.I.T. So, we're fortunate to have them I guess. That said, great video and thanks for sharing !

This is great video. Some of the comments are ridiculous. We know it will run continuously on car battery with car running and in 12 v lighter plug at 1000 and 120 respectively.. as long as the car is running the inverter will run - no different than a generator (power source is ultimately the alternator via fuel etc.). Inverters have been around for years. I wanted a video that would show exactly this- how long would the 9a battery power the inverter at max load. And you this video shows exactly that. Thanks for sharing!!!

Very cool, i have the 800. Its good overall, i use it a lot. In your test here, with the efficiency loss this is good performance from the 9ah batt given the, is it 162 watt hours of storage? Very cool man. Edit:good grief the negativity in your comments is bad. If US citizens, they have the constitutional right to freedom of expression without government interference, but not right to venue. Wield the ban hammer well, sir.

Any idea if the inverter is attached to a car battery and you have a Ryobi battery installed, will it also charge the battery while in use? Also, I looked up the USB-C PD port specs. Only 20watts, not sure why Ryobi doesn't support 60 or 100 W on the USB-C and also support higher output on the USB-A ports. Lastly, they support pure sine wave on their 40 volt invers, but not the 18..any idea why?

i'd like to see that battery run a TV with Directv/dish! I'd be nice to see that or a computer run time if u lost power and had to kill some time with no electricity or generator! 162wh should have been equal to 300watts for 30mins IMO

The inverter is not 100% efficient and the batteries were depleted quickly which results in a lot of loss

Sadly you didn't test the ability of the new inverter compared to the 800 watt one because you didn't use a car battery so there is no point to your test because it doesn't prove anything

The test was to show how long a 9AH battery will power a 300w load on the inverter.

Is there a any new/big difference to the 800 aside from 1000watts? The ports input/output etc?
