We don't even get s.h figuarts toys in retail stores where I live you have to goto a specialty store and usually have to pay about $100 or more sometimes you get lucky and can get some of them for $40-$50 but that almost never happens so I hardly have any I think I own 5 figures all Dragonball characters

No, it is on purpose. Bandai is experimenting nowadays with making budget SHF figures for newer collectors to get into. This is why SHF figures like Geats Magnumboost and Tanjiro are cheaper compared to other figures in their lines.
