City leaders promised MONTHS AGO to have housing available for these people. When do they intend to get serious about it? There's a ton of empty, useless office space in San Francisco that already has plumbing, heating, and so forth. Why not just put beds in those buildings, and install showers and kitchen spaces as needed?

People come from all over the United States to access SF housing and medical resources. There needs to be stricter limits on those who have not lived in SF and are just coming here to do that.

it should be a case by case situation. If people almost have it together and just need an extra week or two to get a first or second paycheck, I support giving them extra help.

They can help by building some housing that people can actually fecking afford. Stop being willfully ignorant.

The City I grew up in and once loved is no longer 💔

Yeah, I don't even bother going there anymore. Everything costs too much, including the bridge fee. The people I used to visit there have all moved out, and the restaurants I used to love have all closed. About the only thing that's remained the same are homeless people on the streets. No idea why anyone's acting like that's something new.

Homelessness will not end because it's become a business. Compass Family Services takes in about 30million a year and employs 150 people. SF has spent 690 MILLION dollars this year on the homeless..................How's it working?
