I have learned that there is a lot of science to having a successful farm. Time management, so much upkeep on the equipment, and good financial planning is involved for future expenses... A lot if work.

Those bolts that you put in the end of the shaft that take the 24mm socket. There are many like that on those swathers and you always want to lock tight those because they tend to work lose and mess up expensive parts

B section belts are 3 inch difference between inside circumference and outside circumference. A B52 is normally 55 inch outside circumference, except for 3v, 5v etc and branded belts.

We followed a large John Deere tractor pulling a manure wagon for miles yesterday on a typical narrow rural road in Scotland yesterday. Thirty three mph was his maximum speed and there was absolutely no room for oncoming vehicles to pass.

Congrats on the new tractor ... My brother farms in Mt & I asked him if a really good year , like this one so far , helps him relax where his finances are concerned... He said , not really because any time you have a really good year you invest it back into farm by replacing equipment that should've been replaced in the bad years ... Made sense .

What I like to see in a grain bin is a life line, if you have to go in for any reason, you hook it to the top of the bin. They have so many of them on the market but there is one that you can self-adjust it yourself when you need to. This year has been bad for bin accidents, because you can get buried in a bin real easy. Let me know what your thoughts on this is Cole. Be Safe and God Bless One more thing, love that puppy.

Nice you can weigh cattle as you want. Looking forward to seeing the Grain bin go up think it's awesome there is programs to help with building bins. Nice tractor just careful with the loader setup on it it's Deere's newer design and I had to go lift one off a customers truck roof because they didn't lock the loader in place properly!

Last time I was in any hail was in Colorado and it did over $10,000 of damage to the outside of my car. Lucky I had full coverage and the car was new enough that the insurance had to replace the entire outside of the car. Cole, you all need to carry some Handy Wipes in that there ATV of yours so you can wipe the cow poop off.

FSA is a real good service, we used them when we purchased a new section of land. We did a repair on our cutter too, we don't have a swather but a discbine, just a lot older.

The cement turned out really nice. We have our steel hydraulic handling system on cement as well. Because the whole runway/chute is also hydraulic. The S shaped runway leading up to the hydraulic squeeze..It adjusts the width of the runway depending on what size the cattle are. So they can’t turn around and don’t double up. So it had to be level on cement. Works great. Your looks nice on the cement. We scrap our out after use so the manure doesn’t build up in there

our drought started at end of July in east Texas. Now 30 days of no rain and high temperatures But good grass stock to start and plenty of water in ponds and tanks cows are OK but I don't want 2 more months of this~!
