Z1 Weld your car together. You can weld two pieces together. It seems like its welded, but you need to grap these and weld it with a click on the other piece.

Make a trike, with two wheels at front, it'll be stable and still light. And no issues with balance. Unless you go all glitch welding, then the "standard" bike will also work.

I have a great idea for storing your vehicles, as well as fill in your base. Make a car elevator. Similar to what you have now for the regular elevator but bigger. Much bigger. You can have a big space for putting the vehicles up at the top. But when you want to use it, place the vehicle on the lift press a button, and it gets brought to the ground. You could even add sensors to it for when you are leaving, it will automatically go back up.

If you want to make a stable scouting bike, you can use the stabilizer glitch so it doesn't fall over.

The electric engines are good for hauler and mining vehicles because they have a lot more torque

Hey Z just so you know later in the game when you start farming tier 3 crops big reds and tape bots spawn. The big red bots shot a purple stuff that breaks blocks and tape bots shot tape and can break blocks, so personal I would relocate all your stuff to the very top so they cant break all your chest and other bots up there

You can use 2 sensors one on each side of the bike with few adjustments and pipes also use the smaller wheels instead of the bigger ones and an electric engine cuz it uses less power and exactly 5 suspensions, 3 on the back so that you don't get thrown off the bike when you stop it and two upfront and there you have it, a nice fast steady and a cheap energy consumption bike.

there is a suspension glitch in the game which prevents the vehicles (specially bikes) from falling edit: the suspension glitch is really cheap provided you have enough materials for suspensions

There's an easier way to make a bike by using the suspension glitch to keep it stable depending on the suspension strength and they are really simple to make and don't use much materials but use a lot of component kits

The gas engine is quicker but the electric engine allows more torque, also you don’t need shocks on a vehicle and if you need better turning then put bearings to turn on the back wheels. Another thing is that the pistons cannot hold too much weight which makes it sag which is why it is not seemless

Instead of a regular trike, why not a reverse trike? 2 steers, 1 rear? Diesel Designs had one that got destroyed by a big red, it was pretty dang cool looking though. Sounded pretty darn disappointed having to use 4 wheels lol

You can click the circular arrows on an item in your crafting queue to craft all of an item with the resources you have available. May keep you from taking up the entire queue to craft one item. Also, any single craft you start after clicking that circle will jump to the front of the queue so you don't have to wait for the other to finish.

You could've done this with 2 pistons - just upgrade them. Also, they're sagging a little bit because they can't handle the weight, which too could be handled by upgraded pistons, if not you could add 2 pistons in parallel that activate at the same time to make it work better.

his problem isn't so much the engine, it's the weight of the vehicle. heavier the vehicle, the more fuel it uses. helps balance out the game.

Bikes are really hard to make in Scrap Mechanic. The easiest way to make one is using sensors and suspension glitches, and a lot of experimentation. Also trikes are doodoo.
