One thing that's really nice about it is that you can use the calibrated sensors to effectively "store" sounds. Using this, you could store all 15 frequencies in a chain, then use the calibration of the new sensors to choose when to allow a signal through or not. If you don't want to allow a signal, calibrate both sensors to a different frequency. The first one will sometimes detect a signal, but it can't pass it on to the second because of the difference in tuning. Then when you want to allow ANY signal through, simply deactivate both tuners. If you want to allow a SPECIFIC value through only, set both to the same value. Now that you can save 16 values, off and frequencies 1 to 15, and choose when to let them through, you have a 4 bit binary number. Combine this with the possibility of multiple data lines and using nether portal loaders to keep the nether ceiling loaded while data is sending, you can transmit data in any distance divided by 160 seconds. So you could send a 32 bit number 2000 blocks away in only about 12.5 seconds.

Thank you! I've only found videos talking about builds, but bever explaining *how* and *why* they work so I could implement them in my own game. **Edit** I checked again, and there seems to be a couple now... Yours was still the first I found though, and you explained it really well!
