1 - Udyr is faster, u can't scape Udyr 2 - Twitch had a 80%+ slow on the ground 3 - AP Twitch had full poison stacks on him and Trynda had no cooldowns. And even if he had them twitch poison was probably enought to kill him, and his E also can be used as an execute from really far away. 4 - He was dead anyways so the best thing u can do once u know you are 100% death is stack all the graps and hardsteel you can, or if u don't have anything stackable just try to do all the dmg you can before die, so maybe you force them to recall and your team is free from presure to ward, push, recall, etc.
