You can still do this build with PtA and would yield better results, and as well you should remember HOB nerfs a few patches ago too, and for the ldr vs mortal reminder it's not even close, you get only 5 ad and 5 armor pen, while Mortal reminder gives you more stats, grev wounds on KSante all out, bard heals, champions lvl 12 above hp regen as well and stuff like that, LDR right now is currently bad.

Can someone help me understand Kindred ult better? Do you try and save teammates with it or should you try and use it more selfishly?

If the teamate is more fed than you and hard carrying the game yeah, save him. But usually it will be a waste unless your ult allows him to use a good ult himself or finish everyone

Well it can be used in many ways but at the end of the day you will prob use it more selfishly. It takes time to understand when you should ult for someone else because you need to have a good understanding how a teamfight will go. First think about how fights will go and then think about if you need to ult for team or not.

does it even matter what you build on kindred in lower elos, cause why did i just carry a game going youmuus ie hexdrinker (didnt care to finish it but brand was annoying me) pd runaans with swifties i can totally understand why people say builds dont really matter it's moreso personal skill in lower elos, this build was just funny (runaans bc too many melee bruisers/tanks including samira) as long as you get enough marks and you get fed it actually doesnt matter what you build 80% of the games

building correctly is still one of my favorites, like last split kraken wits tabis into the perfect games for it making me able to 1v3 and win, but ive come to realize it doesnt actually matter what you build on this champ if youre good enough at her most games in lower elos and this build was unironically the most fun ive had on her in a while lmao

For any champion playing in low elo probably all the way to master really, your build doesn't matter... You can legit copy the same build every game and climb as long as you play well. Game play matters the most.

yea it is kinda nuts what builds i can go even if they barely make sense half the time and still win just because i got fed thru correct gameplay, this might be my favorite part about kindred the insane variety of builds and playstyles, i always looked for build guides here but honestly i just took a general idea of how to assess which item is good on her and why, then just build according to what i know, i appreciate your teachings as always bro

ghostblade + ldr deals more dmg than ghostblade + collector as soon as somebody has around 40-ish armor and you always want ldr/mortal +ie in late with this build so going collector is complete grief. stop building collector on adc champs it is a bad item

Very disney land view of the game. Collector is a very strong item with good stats in current meta and if you feel the need to get through armor, you can just build it right after the collector. IE costs 3600 gold and that is not easy to get playing in human games. If game is being played well by most of the lobby, if you think it's that easy to just get 3600 gold out of thin air, you are either hard stomping the lobby or playing in disney land or trolling your gold income and not building efficient items. Plenty of current meta adc are very OP cause of collector and it has very good synergy with some champions like Aphelios, Cait, Kindred, etc so It just seems you are being fed misinformation.
