All my life's a circle Sunrise and sundown The moon rose through the nighttime Till the day break comes around All my life's a circle But I can't tell you why The seasons spinning round again The years keep rolling by It seems like I've been here before I can't remember when But I've got this funny feeling That I'll be back once again There's no straight lines make up my life And all my roads have bends There?s no clear-cut beginnings And so far no dead-ends All my life's a circle Sunrise and sundown The moon rose through the nighttime Till the day break comes around All my life's a circle But I can't tell you why The seasons spinning round again The years keep rolling by I've found you a thousand times I guess you've done the same But then we lose each other It's just like a children's game And as I see you here again The thought runs through my mind Our love is like a circle Let's go round one more time All my life's a circle Sunrise and sundown The moon rose through the nighttime Till the day break comes around All my life's a circle And I can't tell you why The seasons spinning round again The years keep rolling by (Repeat chorus) (Repeat chorus) (Repeat chorus & fade)

marty and paul own the 'New Seekers' name and the band still plays gigs sometimes - with 2 new girl singers and one other boy. Eve Graham is a solo singer and lives in Scotland. Lyn Paul still sings, but has been in the West End in Blood Brothers. Sadly, Peter Doyle died in 2001 from throat cancer

I totally agree, Eve was the perfect woman, everything about her. They were a special group of people, once one left it just gradually feel apart. At least we have the memories. Their albums had some amazing songs and harmonies. One of the many gifts of being around back then, songs were written about love and life's adventures.Today they've all about sex and immediate gratification. I left Europe in 1985, the American music was corrupted at that stage.

@SallyWilliams12 жыл бұрын
they didn't, they were 2 different bands. Keith Potger from The Seekers put the new band together. And while the original Seekers only had a limited repertoire, The New Seekers did ballads, country, rock, pop, folk. And the original Seekers only had one great vocalist (Judith), The New Seekers had 3 (Eve, Lyn & Peter)

Hi Sally. Four in fact. Don`t forget Marty Kristian! Great band. I stopped listening to them a long time ago but in recent years I`ve been playing them again. I always liked The New Seekers but I realise now I didn`t appreciate them enough back in the day. They were truly fabulous! Best wishes

@SallyWilliams12 жыл бұрын
They didn't, the Seekers vanished because Judith wanted to go solo, and Keith formed the new band. And while The Seekers had a typical 60s folk sound, The New Seekers were pop, country & a bit rocky, their success shows that the formula was right. And "talentless" is just a stupid remark.

you maybe right, blondie always attract more attention, say Mary Hopkins,Deebie Harry etc, well, I have a deep impression of eve back in 1971-1972, in which eve attrats me more in those album, i always thought new seekers is such a waste. don't forget I'm a great fan of lyn too, I had her solo album back in 1974.You know ,comparison is cruel,they are all beautiful people. I was just listening to the studio version. I THINK they are actually singing. But why don't they just put their guitars down and sing. It looks kind of silly when you hear different instruments other than those that they are "playing". Do bands still do this today?

I liked them both but I get where you are coming from. I love early Fleetwood Mac and Genesis but can't understand why both became more popular later on. Peter Green and Gabriel are much better than Stevie Nicks and Phil Collins in my opinion but the sales reveal different tastes.
@SJHUE2 жыл бұрын
I`m sure you could easily hear a lot worse without too much effort. In terms of getting paid they were by and large paid very little actually. Compared to the mega millions most (C)Rap `artists` get nowadays they were paid peanuts. Agreed on the original Seekers singer Judith Durham who had one of the best voices ever.
