In mcc you can increase the amount of sims that can be on a lot at the same time! This really helps make it feel more full!

The reason why everything feels so empty is because in the Sims 4 only 20 sims can be on a lot at a time. This includes people who are just walking by and not actually with you in the school.

It's not just me who got really happy when Clare said it reminds her of Life Is Strange, right? Because right off the bat when I heard 2 of the families were the Prescotts and the Prices I immediately got reminded of Nathan Prescott and Chloe Price (I'm pretty sure that was her name) and also how the Prescotts live in the "fashion forward" neighborhood and the Prices live in the more "middle-class" (I guess) neighborhood. It's not just me who notices these things and thought of Life Is Strange, right?

As a high schooler, I'm so excited to play with this pack. I'm so excited to see what Opal does. Clare, one of the things that worked for me to populate the pier with teens is adding the home lot with "Teen Neighborhood". Since there isn't a loading screen between home and the pier, it works wonders. 😉

My opinion, build up the enemies to lovers storyline by showing more meanness between Micah and Opal and give them a reason to be rivals. During this time Opal is very “He makes me so angry.” She develops a sweet relationship with someone else (maybe it’s socially awkward and weird) and it’s just a typical first boyfriend/girlfriend thing. So the whole time Micah and Opal’s relationship is being developed as rivals “with something more” and eventually Opal and first date break up! She has to go through her first breakup and at some point, Micah and Opal start to get closer but are unsure and eventually they acknowledge feelings for each other. Kinda on the nose, but also how I see an enemies to lovers going.

James Turner recently made a really good school if you are interested in changing the school. He made the interior to his school closer together so there isn't much time wasted in-between classes. There's a lot of stuff in it and it could get a little laggy if you don't have a really good computer but I'm sure you do, so I dont think that'll be a problem for you.

The T posing wasn't a glitch! It's like a challenge trend that teens can do, like the mannequin challenge or planking. When you see a sim t posing at school you can go up and ask them about it and try it yourself

Apparently, there's a really good mod where you can choose who attends your school, I believe it's called Choose High School Classmates. Also part of the Drama Llama aspiration is to have a declared rival and to also break up with a sim (to keep in mind for future episodes).

The pre-teen mod, has been reported as source for why you can't follow your sims to school. That and other school related mods. So check those, if you got trouble.

clare teens can sneak out even on the first floor! you just need a platform so they can get onto the other side! i extended the porch around to the teens room and made a little opening and let me just say the animation is so cool and fun🤩😊!

“Doctor Ashley” just posted a really cute school Keeping MCC will prevent your Sim from getting to prom. Either it will drop off the calendar or you won’t get the prompt pop up to attend prom

Btw it’s okay they are t posing it’s for the t pose challenge you can click on the sim doing that to learn more and ask about it. The rides were bugged for me as well but I found that if you can go on the Ferris wheel then afterwards you’ll be able to go on the other rides. Also you can skip class which would be good for opal’s storyline, just cancel going to class and stay away from the principal or you could get sent to detention. I’m excited for you to continue this play through!

Some mods I think you'll find super useful! 1.Choose your classmates mod which you could use for Cole (and it allows you to pick your teammates too). 2. Form groups in high school. Idk if you noticed but we don't have the option to form groups in school so the only way to control other sims is if they are in your household. 3. Fashion Apparel I think it's called? Among a lot of other things, it lets you pick a school uniform. 4. Teen Interactions Reactions adds a few buffs and a sentiment for some teen interactions. All of these mods I found through itsmeTroi's video about mods for this pack and it also has the download links in the description. Hope you find this useful! ♡

Clare, the T-posing is a challenge the sims can do. When you see them, you can click on the sim and ask/join. I think it's poking fun at the old planking challenge kids used to do.

Quick warning that prom has been conflicting with mccc. They put out a hot fix but there have still been some issues. Some other people have said get famous is conflicting with prom too (the talent showcase is scheduled for a similar time) and they’ve had to disable it. I’d double check prom shows up in the calendar otherwise you might have issues 😞

I really enjoy the pack, but there's lots of rabbitholes and nothing to do in class. I was surprised to enjoy the trendi stuff and the boba tea shop is fun. There is a surprising number of things to do. The issue you had with the ride was new, haven't seen that before. Yes, it's very disappointing the ferris wheel is another rabbithole. Overall though, I like it, but it needed more active activities over rabbitholes.

Although Opal doesn't have a crush on him, maybe it's like a secret crush that not even she knows about. She always wants to talk to him, and do stuff with him, but doesn't know why. (Just adding some drama), maybe because she's rival's with him, she slowly starts liking him more? Cole could be a good teenage romance as well. Best friends with him as a child, slowly becoming distant with him but maybe getting in touch more as teenagers. One of them maybe finding out they like the other sim. Anyways, keep up the great work! I can't wait for the next episode of High School Years!

I had the EXACT same issues with my game and managed to fix it last night, the mod that was conflicting was the BetterSims mod, not sure if Clare has that mod but it was because it let teens leave high school early, and was depending on MCC to run the game! I hope this helps anyone with similar issues!

Btw, the Reddux health mod... so the mood pack that you have to get for it to work was outdated, but they've updated it now and it should work. I've put mine back with the mood pack updated and haven't had issues. However check for an actual reddux update just in case. Also.... alll CC beds are broken.... might as well delete them all. Only toddler ones work.

James Turner always makes really cool builds; so if he has made a High School, then I'd totes recommend trying that out. As for high school romance, maybe start with Opal's natural crush; and maybe it ends up not working out with Morgan (because you know, high school romance) and then she starts to get feelings for Micah, but she hates the idea b3cause their rivals and she's not supposed to like him? That could be fun.

Hi Clare!! I’m a little late but it’s because of the time! When you went to the fair on a Tuesday the teens were still in school. At the school when you were looking around the game was still live and ran the clock down. It’s very time focused I’ve noticed. Another thing, the teens automatically are on their phones any chance they get to update social bunny on their own. When at the school you’ve got to pause during the breaks. The hour break before class is meant to be like American home room and time to get to your locker and do things! ❤️
