Always amazed at the care you take with every step. What looks so eclectic and haphazard in fact takes infinite attention to detail and the end effect is so lovely and organic. Each element you make and incorporate into journals is a mini work of creativity and art in its own right. You make us all believe we can be artists! Keep on keeping on.

It’s amazing how we all have little things we do differently so we can all learn from each other. My new favorite thing to do when using napkins is to take the whites off the backs before I start anything. Then I have them to absorb the extra sprays and I put them under when I’m stamping so the napkins catch the bit I didn’t get on the project. By the time I’m done with the original project I now have a totally unique napkin I can easily make a “matching “ journal card of something to go with the thing I was planning on making.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this series! I have just discovered the art of junk journals a few months ago and this is great! Wetting the napkin is soooooo much easier...with a water brush around what you want. Beats struggling to tear it out and I have NEVER had any trouble glueing or mod-podging them down with a damp edge.

I finally will be able to work on my envelope , fixed me mess up , however I didn’t want to stamp with oxide vintage photo; so was waiting for the ink one .... received it today 👏 i only have a few stamps ( I have a script one ) but no postage one ..... what can I use for that part ? I have digital post stamps I could decoupage that on, but I can’t cancel it. Anyone know where I can get one in Canada ? Also Andrea for us very beginners could you please explain the difference between oxide and ink ( I know now , oxide will reactivate if it gets wet , is that correct ? ) also the names of types that you can use for ink or oxide , I’m not sure how to know the difference with other brands I’ve seen.
