Kelly, if you allow the mod lodge to dry, place your fabric on the wood. Place parchment paper over it and iron over the parchment paper. The hot iron will melt the modpodge, giving you a flawless fabric finish. Then seal with the modpodge

Off the subject, but I saw a new "er" KZbinr take the wood beads from Dollar tree (that are painted so brightly)..and put them in a sandwich bag with nail polish remover. She shook them around and she said you have to rub a little bit, but all the paint came off and they were beautiful natural wood beads when she was done!! Hope someone finds this useful. Kelly this is absolutely adorable/beautiful! You are such an awesome creator!!!

Love, love, love!!! If you ever find yourself out of the wood stains you like, have you ever used the wood stain markers that dt carries. Love them. They come in 3 packs, 2 different sets of colors. Try them if you haven't, you mite love them like I do.

Love this Kelly! Also, a little tip you can try out. If you add a teaspoon of cornstarch to a small bottle of apple barrel paint, you should get the chalk paint feel. If you want it thicker add more cornstarch, if you want thinner dont add as much. Hope this helps.

Hi Kelly! I'm so glad to see you so happy🥰 I bought this exact pumpkin, but I loved the wording so well, I just went over it with a tiny brush and chalk paint in plaster. I added a small burlap bow and a metal leaf to the top and it looks SO expensive!!!

Love your enthusiasm. I'm definitely 'stealing' your reversible pumpkin idea. In years past, crafting supplies weren't as well done, and most were costly DIY's, so I would often make one wreath and use Velcro on the accessories to make them seasonal; it also saves space. 😅 I'm eager to decorate my flat pumpkins on both sides because I often skip decorating for Thanksgiving because most of my Halloween decor works for both holidays. 😄 Thank you for the inspiration!
