Beautiful! I think a caramel-tan would look nice plied with this blue.

Hi Rayne, I hope you're all OK xx 😘 💕 I love thar Fibre, the shine on the Bobbin really came through I love the idea of plying it with another colour . I think a grey would look good with it, I'd jeep it to the thickness of the . "ply back" , love the close ups, you always explain everything so well. Can't wait to see what you've got lined up in this series. Happy Spinning ❤ Take care and stay safe. Lots of love and Big Hugs to you all Jen xxxx 🫂🫂💖💖💕💕🤔

Hey Jen! We are doing pretty good! Staying busy and trying to keep warm we have had quite a bit of snow here so been stuck in the house for a few days. Thank you, I try to make it clear and entertaining at least. This was quite a spin I had wanted to spin for a while. I am so excited for this new series. Glad everyone is enjoying it. Big hugs to you and yours as well stay safe as always! Lots of love -Rayne

@@RayneFiberArts Hi Rayne, I'm glad you're all doing good xx 😘 I got what you were saying about one end being easier to spin from. I have some Rolags and with your instructions I found even they have a better end to spin from. I really appreciate you setting this series up. You always explain everything so clearly. Being stuck indoors because of the weather isn't easy with 2 toddlers to keep occupied. I hope the snow clears pretty quick for you We had some snow a couple if weeks ago so we were pretty much the same as you. Now its just freezing cold. Stay ssfe and warm. Love Jen xxxx 💖 ❤ 💕

New to your channel. Ilove watching your spinning but would also like to see some from Fibre to dye then knitted or chrochet. I'd like to see t played with cream or white..

I do have a few on here from fiber to knitted item, but it is spread out into different videos. I will definitely have more in the future and do some videos dedicated to that. Thank you so much for watching and your awesome suggestions!

I’m spinning (trying) some merino combed top and having a hard time getting my wheel adjusted correctly or I’m not drafting it correctly. I have an Ashford traditional. I have to increase my brake tension to keep from over twisting so much that the twist goes too far into the unspun part that I can’t draft it. I get pretty good results with roving that is woolen prepared. I have separated the combed top into quarters and pre drafted it and still have the same problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.

i love these video, how much yards can you spin with 50 grams
@RayneFiberArts2 жыл бұрын
It depends entirely on the thickness you are spinning. You will get way more yards spinning at 40 wraps per inch than you will spinning at 20 wraps per inch.
