It's interesting to me that people think that. I really don't mind the burner stage. If you use some speedrunny tactics and don't try to automate immediately, it goes by pretty fast and is fun to get everything set up.

Hand placing everything in most modpacks is soul crushingly monotonous b/c of the amount of stuff you need to create. Completely fine with this

Nah. I can already think of 3 points pretty early on where they are just going to say "Yeah I'm not doing that" and then just fizzle out lol. Krastorio is sick... But you gotta want it. EDIT: Nevermind. Lewis started with bots thus making the game ez-mode from the jump.

@@CriticoolHit I haven't played much Factorio, let alone Krastorio. But don't construction bots just help with menial tasks? does having them early really give that much of a boost?

Factorio is one of my favourite games, happy to see you playing it again. Starting with bots is a great idea, like you said it means you don't spend a whole episode cutting down a forest or building a mining field. And only having solar is a good balance thing too.

Oh my gosh, a new factorio series!? And it’s not streams either it seems, just a normal video let’s play like the old days. This is so exciting, I absolutely loved the old series back in 2016 and still regularly rewatch them, it doesn’t feel as long ago as it is.

Omg I had no idea you guys were playing Factorio! I just started playing the game a few months ago. I still have yet to launch my rocket. I have been interested in playing this mod, but haven't prestiged to there yet. Nevertheless, I'm gonna watch this series! Love you guys :D. Wish I would have seen this when the series started.

It's funny that they mention the Reactor scene in Silo in this. In the show the Reactor scene is tense and could almost destroy the entire Silo's way of existence! In the book the Reactor fixing scene is basically: "Hey I need to fix the reactor." "Ok fix it" "Ok it's fixed, continue living everyone." One of the funniest shifts I found from Book to Show.

Duncan learns to cut down trees then proceeds to deforest everything he can. I certainly don't foresee any biter troubles in the coming future.
