Season 3 Started earlier than expected! Had to cut this into 2 parts, so here is part 2 🤘
In this episode we start fresh on a new server, a helicopter crash in the night and a couple of hard missions.
DEADSIDE blends together the feeling of an Extraction Shooter while taking place in an Open Persistent World with PVP / PVE, and Survival elements. Store your loot in a safe zone, or build a base in the vast world. You can store more loot in a base, and can't get offline raided. If other players kill you, you may drop a raid token which allows them to raid you for an hour. Mixed with tactical gunplay, challenging missions, newly-added boats, DEADSIDE offers an open world experience with fast and clear progression. You get guns fast.

Thanks :) For sure 🤘What are your thoughts on the 0.12 update? All in all I think it's a solid update. Not too crazy changes other than the ammo drop count from the npc's. But with every update like this, it just takes a while getting used to.

@@f3nn3x My first thought "Finally!" and the second I'm on it just exactly what I expected, small but solid update with prone animation and weapons tweaking. Many people in discussions are whining for something more but please can you give them a bit of credit for their works? Adding new animation are not easy work I had experience as hobbies modder for Oblivion and Fallout game series so I really understand just how long for them to make it. Moreover the Bad Pixels devs are small indie game company and they lack of people in their team. So just be thankful they finally add it on their game.

yeah, lots of people seem to forget that, or they just ignore it and demand :P they are doing a great job but I really hope they add more gameplay loops such as some tasks / quests or something like that. But as you said, it takes time, and i dont expect that next week ;)

Good stuff. Transitioning from sniper rifle longer range to close quarters auto is the way. Any thoughts on the latest update with prone, the new workbench repair system, and the weapon recalibrations?

Thanks, yeah I don't really want to cheese it from range all the time, so i try to get in there with some more CQ. So far the update is good, there are some changes that are going to take some getting used too, like the ammo count that npc's have on them, its really reduced. And i haven't really tried prone too much. All in all it seems like a solid update.

hey, I'm on an amd 5950x with 64gb ram and a 3090. I play at 1440p resolution. I don't think the game is too demanding on hardware if you where wondering.

im at 144, which is my monitor max, mostly all of the time, some dips here and there, but game runs really good for the most part 👍

I really wish they would improve AI in these games...they just don't react right and following you into the room only to be shot...so boring. What is the pint of a massive world if they just run at you in straight lines?

I agree that AI needs work. Not just in Deadside, but in other games to as you say. AI is really difficult to get right and as far as I know, there is an AI rework planned for Deadside. But it takes time which is understandable, smaller studios and gamedevs don't have the resources AA and AAA studios have so most of them have to figure it out by them selves. Good thing tho is that it can only get better, usually ;)

this is something i always wonder about. we had just massive massive improvements in the graphics department, but enemy ai is still terrible. there are either brandead ai, or cheating ai like in tarkov who can hear you in 100 meter distance even if your inside and not moving. since fear there were no really good ai which stands out.
