I've been looking for a dress that i can wear for a long day with s 2 hour drive, 1 hour meet and greet, 2 hour meeting, 2 hour dinner and a 2 hour drive home. Would you recommend this pattern?

For sure! I would choose a fabric that's wrinkle free. This dress is roomy and comfortable to wear. So it should work great for your needs.
