The hisuian avalugg is better because of the better moveset and it does seem good to run ice in masters rn

Difference between Normal Vs Hisuian Hisuian = Fast Move is Powder Snow / Tackle / Bite Normal = Fast Move is Ice Fang / Bite As Hisui you have Rock sub-typing which gives you Rock coverage against Ho-Oh which is quite common but in addition to Rock coverage it also gives you resistance to Fire so you would take neutral damage to pokemon like Solgaleo/Reshiram/Heatran/Ho-Oh but with Rock typing it also gives you the weakness of Ground so pokemons like Groudon can potentially one shot you and also double weakness to Fighting so Zacian/Xerneas can be a problem. ALSO you charge moves quicker which also lets you keep in pace with pokemons like Mewtwo Reshiram Dialga as Normal one does not. Normal Avalugg while pure Ice Type gives it only 4 weaknesses but is mainly used for fast move pressure damage instead of charge moves unlike Hisui. As far as weaknesses goes you lose to Mewtwo and Ho-Oh in the 0&1 Shields but you beat Groudon/Zacian/Xerneas better as you can take a lethal move better as it only has single weakness. For moves you deal more fast move damage so farming down is easier but your moves are slower charge rate so against pokemons like Dialga/Mewtwo/Reshiram/Ho-Oh you will lose to them as your moves are slower and do not deal big damage as is neutral. Basically TLDR - Hisui if you want to have good energy leads against pokemon that rely on charge moves for DPS like Mewtwo/Dialga/Ho-Oh as it gets to moves quicker and good against Fire but weaker against Groudon/Zacian/Xerneas. Normal is vice versa the complete opposite better against Groudon/Zacian/Xerneas but weak to Fire and others. Hope this helps. Ice Fang = 9.6 Damage / 5 Energy / 5-EPS Move Counts are 7-7-7 (Body Slam) and 9-9-9+for everything else Powder Snow = 6 Damage / 8 Energy / 8-EPS Move Counts are 6-6-5 for Moves

Great IVs, congratulations! I went for a walk tonight and caught a rank 442 shadow Frosslass (1498 cp)...good enough for me! Plus a 3 star shiny tentacool (1500cp, rank 1142), also workable IMO. And a 3 star shadow Rhyhorn (can purify for perfect) and a pretty bad (but 1500cp) shadow Toxicroak. Great night for Rocket battles...

Research. First learn about ivs, so you can start to build an arsenal of good Mons. Then move counts and timing is the next thing to leanr

@@omarholder9036 sorry I kind of wrote that comment quickly as I was going somewhere, I do know about Ivs and I’m pretty good with counting, I’m just talking about how to notice win cons and when to throw specifically, I’m getting better with my timings in 2 turns vs 3 turn quick moves but it’s just a lot haha
