KandidKinks Like the new intro! I guess I could try it but honestly my hair already loves their original manuka honey & mafura line and they've expended that line I saw recently to add some gel and something else. Think it's thru Target they sell it. But I would keep that as my goto shea moisture line...for now. 😊

I wanna know is the shea moisture yogurt rinse out conditioner have protein in it🤔 i dont see it in the ingredients I know the shampoo does though and the deep conditioner does too🤷‍♀️

Yeah my hair felt hydrated and moisturized, the products I mentioned I actually would use again. The added protein in them is noticeable so I would only use them when I was in need of protein, not a regular day. I was superrr tired when I recorded the voice over but I wanted to get the video up! I knew some of you guys would notice my lack of energy 😂 sorry! But yeah these are my real feelings about the products, I was actually impressed, thanks sooo much for caring boo 💕

Thank you! I think the main thing I would take away from it is although they are hydrating they still are products that are repairing so that’s what I would use it for. I personally wouldn’t use them for a weekly wash.

I don't mean to sound stupid but how do you know if your hair is protein sensitive?

You dont sound stupid hun thats a normal question to ask. Based on how your hair feels each time you use protein in it, if its extremely dry and not behaving, plus the porosity test. You have to do a porosity test if you have low porosity you hair would be sensitive to protein. Google the porosity test.

Yep! That's me, low porosity ALL DAY! My hair is always dry like straw after a wash routine. I purchased the low porosity shea moisture line and my hair was the same-dry as straw! I guess I need to stay away from those protein rich shampoos & conditioners. The odd thing is when I put products in my hair, it's in that high porosity state so I have no idea what to do, lol. Truly thank you for that need-to-know!!!

They come out with so many lines so often it’s hard to keep up! I’ve written them a few times to include a leave in for the high porosity line. That stuff works wonders on my hair 😩

I'm a bit confused with the shampoo and conditioner because if they are heavy in protein. Is it still safe for you to use them every wash day or is it something you would use like the protein mask like twice a month? I hope this made sense lol i haven't seen anyone mention anything regarding this issue.

Sorry i didn’t do the best job explaining it! The mask and the leave in are heavy protein. The conditioner and the shampoo aren’t

Felicia Wilks The split end balm is 2.5 oz. I've only seen 1 size for the deep treatment, and it is 8 oz.

If you need more elasticity, you need more moisture. If your hair is too stretchy and soft, you need protein treatment

Just before I saw your question about your intro, I was thinking "let me remember to tell her that the new intro is on point!". But I also have to say I miss the former song in the outro. Back to the review: I'm confused by the protein treatment. I don't count yogurt as protein, because from what I've read, if the protein is not hydrolyzed it can't bind to your hair. So for me it's not really a protein treatment :-/

The yogurt isn’t the treatment from what I read on the ingredients list they contain hydrolyzed wheat protein and vegetable protein. Even the leave in has protein
