What I love about this deck is how many skills proc at the same time once you activate the VG skill. The interactions of each card is what makes it fun

Maybe it's the decklist you're using but the greatest thing about new Shojo is how he can toolbox his "stealth package" more effectively than old Shojo. You have a near infinite resource by balancing the new G1 that gets G2 and above back to hand, Kagechika that puts stealth cards from drop to soul, and Raidon Kunai who is a 10k guard from bind and a CC on the RG. The interaction of units that gets called when units are put to the soul are also improved with the new Grade 1 as Tsukuyo and Unpreciden are not only restricted to whenever Shojo activates his skill. His approach in gameplay now surrounds the toolbox that is "stealth" into whatever is needed at that moment, and creates a non linear game state compared to old Shojo. The Guard from bind is not the main center of his gimmick because you're absolutely correct on how control decks cancel that effect simply by pinging on unit away, but binding three cards from the soul so not only do you get 2 units to call (one of them possibly and preferably being Shenryi) you also are assured that you can get Raidon Kunai in bind for most of the time.

Yeah the deck list I use during my live was a little wonky ( the one I gave in the vid is a more refined version). Also, we have space for Shenryi?

@@mcmegane9183 with the introduction of Ougijishi, Shojo can cut out Forktail from the decklist and put Shenryi in. Old Shojo managed pretty well already with just 1 set of Forktail Ougijishi is a set of forktail that's easily recycled and doesn't fall off late game. Shenryi and Kinran makes the lost of old shojo's +10k worth it just from their ability to plus without much draw back.
@mcmegane91834 ай бұрын
that's the thing , we still only bind 2 rg per turn and shenryi asked for 1 or less RG. Unless we are playing Order here. But i did not think of removing Forktail so that might be the next update to the deck

Do you mind sharing what ratios have you been running the grade 1s at? I've been enjoying the deck a lot but can't seem to land a ratio for the g1s that I'm satisfied with, because they're all so good

@@someoneoutthere4844 forktail is still the best rushing and deck thinning option, with ougijishi and forktail, you can put pressure early and make an potential P.Ride OTK turn with 6-7 attacks. The fact that if you go first, your G3 turn can put pressure to opponents that make them at 5 damage with not much hand left to play for their turn.

Here's my list: 8 crit 3 draw 1 Dragveda 3 Utsuroi 1 Elementaria 3 Shojodoji 4 Unpreceden 4 Izasaou 4 Ougijishi 3 Kinran 3 Forktail 4 Kagechika 2 Tsukuyodachi 3 Raidon Kunai You can try, the deck is mainly played aggressive, not defensive, the guarding skill is just a win more to bypass the guard restriction.

Your take is a bit interesting, would love to see CFA with you😃. I would replace forktail with shenryi though and cutting the CC to 1.

i have a question as i just played vanguard and pretty confused, which means if i called out a pg and anything else to G with new shojo skill, do i need to sacrifice one more of my hand to activate pg ?
@mcmegane91834 ай бұрын
Yes, you still has to pay the cost unless you fulfilled the discard free condition

How is it sacrificing power? You don't get the OGs 10k+ but you're calling two units instead of one so unless you're calling them to different columns the attack should be bigger no?
@mcmegane91834 ай бұрын
That 2k different makes a difference (+10k and 8k booster), as it means you have to find alternate means to hit good magic number. Is it overreacting? Maybe but I did have a bad time testing the deck before finding the more stable build which is what you saw in the vid and even with that build, I did run into the same issue Not saying it's a deal breaker but I do feel a little bumped when I keep running into that issue
@aryashetty55514 ай бұрын
@@mcmegane9183 Hmmm that's fair, I'm not a shojo player either but calling something like shenryi as the booster seems helpful, because it goes into the soul for you to bind next turn and is a 13k booster otherwise. The 2k difference is definitely nice, but it also depends on whether you want to call a g3. If you're calling a g2 then the power difference doesn't matter except maybe the first G3 turn.

Exactly, I made a similar reply about how i feel just a small power boost instead of being able to use the skill defensively is prefered and i'm still agree to that statement
@BBbreeze4 ай бұрын
This feels like just a strict upgrades to Shojodoji, and the deck was already pretty strong on its own. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by it being almost mid? Like for the grade 3, is it not something you just play with the old Shojodoji, or just straight up replaced with the defensive skill?
@mcmegane91834 ай бұрын
The best TLDR i can give is Cloudfort is a 2-step up and 1 step down from the OG. Instead of being able to use it defensively, I rather have more power boost abt 3-5k for both unit that you called
