Like everyone else, congratulations to you and your wife on your little one. Your carving den looks fantastic. The tone of your videos with your explanations and verbalizing your techniques is top notch. Everything you said in this video is exactly why lots of us check in to watch you. Its gonna be fun to see new videos. And I know how hard it is and the hours that it takes to produce each video. The music the information you give, the lighting which is a huge plus is much appreciated. Looking forward to your journey.

Tutorials for absolute beginners (Landscapes, Wildlife). Absolutely love your carvings : ) I've watched a lot of Mary May, and she's great, but I prefer your carvings.

I commented on this particular video before not sure I covered what I would like more of so here goes. More tutorials that are longer . Love the music by the way, your assessment on what tools you use the most including any specialties. Definitely how you approach the whole spectrum of sharpening and honing. I’ve done lots of power carving , no chain saws , Drexel’s, foredom , and side grinders with shaping wheels. But have been intimidated by hand carving. I like you’re approach to carving, more organic and no pretension. I confess I did your Christmas tree carving for my daughter , all Dremel work. She loved it and she saw your video , she loved that one too. I’ve got my carving table room all set in my spare bedroom. And will dremel what I need out in my shop. Just a bit apprehensive about this chapter. Love the new videos too. Rob

I’ve just stumbled on your channel. I watched your video on the largemouth Bass and Grandpa’s cabin tonight. The videos are so informative with just the right amount of instruction and music. Your work is absolutely brilliant. You make it look so easy. I have just retired and have been looking for ideas on a hobby. You have inspired me to have a look at doing relief carving. I would love to see you do a video on buying the right chisels and brands you would recommend for a beginner to the hobby. Perhaps the woods you use and like. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Good luck with this channel I’m sure it will be a great success.

Firstly, congratulations on the wee one, they are time thieves but good fun, It is great to see someone doing this sort of video from a real garage and holding down a real job. Full-length "How to" videos would be great, any length, your ideas for prepping videos and blanks would be great as well. One thing I see online that helps me as a very new beginner tremendously is an onscreen caption of what tool is being used at the moment.

Thank you! Yes, you are right. They are time thieves but so much fun. :) Thanks for the tip! When I do the full length videos I'll make sure to add what tool I'm using.
