Stumbled over what you said about being a closed shop with only the two of you as employees? Generally that terminology refers to “unions”. What you meant was that you are by appointment only. Congratulations on your success and continued blessings. It took guts and I am guessing a lot of prayer was involved to leave the relative safety of a good career(s) and venture out on your own.

Thank you. We are actually now in our new 1800 sq ft retail store so we are now an open shop ;)

Congratulations to working hard 👍 Be proud of yourself and your wife. I've got a 1987 mustang GT I've had for years, mainly for car shows. That mustang sounds good with the exhaust btw 👍

Thanks! I have a 99 GT out in the driveway I have had since 2002.

@@PGHATCO Yeah I guess we like mustangs 😂 My first was a 1985 GT, should have never sold it. Planning on getting a laser in 2023

@@angrygaragemechanic Love foxes. I just redid all the interior in the 99 to mimic the 80's vibe of the tweed seats and vertical stitching in the fox bodies.

Greetings, I watched a few of your KZbins.... very interesting and very inspiring! A little about us, We do small signage and screen print and embroidery, mostly on apparel but I have been giving a lot of thought to shuffling y business over to primarily doing patches. Leather patches have also been on my radar for some time now but we are just not sure about how they are attached and how well they survive. If I may I'd like to pick your brain with some questions. Are you gluing/heat applying the patches or stitching them? I assume heat, have you had good success with heat applied patches? Are you buying your leather with the heat glue already applied or are you using a third party adhesive? And I think my last question would be ... where are you getting the leather and adhesive from... type and mfg'r would be awesome? Ok one more question... in your video showing your photo display setup, off to the right side you have what looks like a sewing machine ... please tell me more about this machine, I am real curious. Wow... that's a lot so I want to thank you in advance, if we ever cross paths please remind me that I owe you a Heineken. If I can help you with embroidery questons please don't hesitate and I'll do my best. Tony

What material did you use for the back on your larger sign out front? Is that white mdf?

Love it! I have a GF pro and looking to upgrade to a thunder. Do you recommend venting OUT or using the fume extractor for thunder? I used to use the GF filter/extractor but those filters are expensive and full up fast. Thanks a ton and congrats!
@PGHATCO Жыл бұрын
I wish we could filter out but since we rent this space we can't cut a hole in the wall and the windows don't open. The fume extractor we have is 2X as expensive as the GF ones and the filters are more but last longer.

Congrats on your business. Another great video. Love your advices and motivation. I see you have different color designs in various hats. I wonder how you go about attaining different colors on leather patches like the white one you’re wearing on this video. Do you hand paint them after they have been made? Also, please put a link on the adhesive glue you use. My wife and I sent you an email sometime ago, but we haven’t heard from you yet. Hoping and praying to hear from you. It’s coming from DanZain Printing Services. Thanks!

I see your link for the leather above but I also notice is a lot of your videos your patches have a stitch around them, do you hand stitch or use another source and buy the patches with the stitch around them? I've struggled finding a good patch with that look

Just catching this. We have a sewing machine we stitch with.

Your videos are impressive! I'm curious, what made you choose the Thunder Laser over all the other options available? I've considered the Thunder Laser before and I keep coming back to it, but it's a significant investment and a tough decision. By the way, are you satisfied with your purchase?
@PGHATCO Жыл бұрын
100% satisfied. For the price of the amount of machine you get and the customer service reviews it seemed like a winner. I joined Facebook groups of all the others I considered and some others had tons of upset customers complaining about failing machines and no support afterwards. Coming up on 1 yr ownership and it's been a huge blessing to our brand.
