heya, how do u take less damage? cuz literally for me, every damage is around 150-200, armor or not, and this is getting unfair, i only have calamity mod and nothing more

Melee is just super tanky and trivializes a lot of bullet hell early on. Assuming you're copying the build at the end of the video, any bullets that hit you should be doing very small chip damage. Most bullets won't even activate the Amalgamated Brain dodge because they don't do enough damage to proc it. For non-Melee, the only advice I can give is stack as much defense, %damage reduction, and life regen as you can without losing too much damage. Also, avoid taking contact damage at all cost, since they do defense damage and can easily remove all your defense if you get tagged too many times in a row by contact damage. tl;dr just have a Melee build if you don't want to stress, otherwise good luck.

@@nifaneplays my friend is melee and he stacked 200 defense for golem, but on the first hit he got 200 damage ;c

honestly their new sprite for calamity mod is pretty bad
