I'm personally not a fan of 3 Hornet Drones because one is enough, the deck doesn't need more. Once Maliss comes to MD it's another story but until then you could use way better cards for utility. Blink Out is a card that goes pretty hard with Sky Striker, allows top play more around Veiler and Imperm, only downside is if you link of with Linkage, you can't get the material back. But Blink Out is a card that offers some really nice plays.

I'm curious as to what appeals to you from using a card like "Blink out" as oppose to sliding in "Sky Striker Mecha - Eagle Booster" to protect against these interruptions, which is also searchable.

it's kinda cursed that a lot of new sky striker cards works poorly with their own archetype only engage zero can be summoned with raye/linkage (azalea, temperance and spectra are all anoying to summon), camellia is pretty good though the rest of the support are mainly main deck monsters, cyanos is by far the strongest, you can ns or sp it to sp a roze from deck, make camellia, dump engage, make kagari grab engage, have engage for anything you want, have roze and cyanos and camellia in grave for mobilize atk boost HAMP is pretty good but it feels like a worst kaiju def not UR card

My favorite Deck 🔥 I currently play one Hornet as I think its enough. I like to play one Cyanos instead. I like her interaction with Roze. I also play a no HT list with lots of draw power and steal cards 🔥

Nice work GIS! 👍 I forgot Hornet went to 3 for Sky Strikers. I think 3 might be unnecessary but it’s still a nice boost for Sky Strikers regardless Sky Strikers has plenty of tricks to annoy your opponent but does struggle against decks that can outnumber them or have targeting protection but Engage’s repeated searches plus draws & getting to the Link monsters with ease makes Sky Strikers fun & interesting I’ll have to practice with my own at some point. The poor deck hasn’t seen much use 😢

It's hard to play sky striker because too many one cards combo after snake eyes came.. I hope konami add more support cards for sky striker, or at least unbanned kaiser coloseum for challenging one on one 🤣

I never liked playing floodgates in Sky Striker, and STILL don't. You goal is to break/steal the opponents' boards so they can't properly recover after using all their resources. What made that annoying when Snake-Eye/Fire Kings were popular was needing to play things like Soul Release and D.D. Crow to ensure hitting their Entire GY to limit said followup. When Fiendsmith comes out I'm going to have to use a Bystial variant again since those and Phantazmay are REALLY useful against that engine. That lack of resources spent on setting up is why other blind second decks are typically the most annoying things to face if they force you to go first, they'll either disrupt your setup break it or both, and there might be times where you have to sit on an Eagle Booster activation to SOMETIMES survive that. What this deck needs right now is better protection from backrow removal than Lord of the Heavenly Prison and Imperial Iron Wall if it wants to be a viable going first option against those kinds of decks. Though Tenpai on hand traps loses hard to Thrust and The Black Goat Laughs(sometimes sending it with Foolish Goods also works) or any Anti-Battle trap, so that's actually one of the LESS annoying Blind Second matchups.

The next biggest issue is those cheesy "Secret Village Turbo" decks forcing me to play the level 1 Spellcasters, which alongside Cyanos can go into Relinquished Anima to set up your Spells regardless. The new Link support has helped out with breaking floodgates like those but it's not enough by itself, maybe if the deck had a set of Traps treated as Spells by only the Archetype it would help out with nonsense like that and Anti-Spell Fragrance. Droll & Lock also tends to cook those decks if you see it in your opening hand already though, and hitting them with a Veiler during the search should also stop it from being set up if you open instead of draw into, which is probably why I find those LESS of an issue than the other Blind Second decks.

No Floodgates! Sky Striker is about to get new support, Konami already mentioned that the archetypes highlighted in the new Chronicles Anime will recieve new support. So far Sky Striker and Branded will get one or more Anime episodes.
