Nice video! Thanks for sharing. One question...Are you mounting the video tx on the wing? I'm in the middle of setting mine up and looking for the best placement. thx.

Yes, I mounted it on the bottom side of the left wing about an inch or so back from the leading edge.

Nice, like the formation flying. What did you use to attach your Vtx on the bottom of the wing? What did you use to cover the leading edge of the wing? I need to get me a SkyHunter; looks like a fun midsize plane.

I used some doubled sided tape to hold it in and I laminated the entire wing. I also put tape over the VTX to make sure it doesn't go anywhere.

Do you find linear polarised video better than circular?

I tried both on 1.3 and they were both about the same. Linear is cheaper and easier to deal with.

skyhunter question i can only get 1.8 miles out before my rssi starts to drop quickly im using a taranis with ezuhf setup. with dipoles.. i do have my video mounted on top behind the canopy pod. and the dipole on the back of the fuselage forward of the motor mount. do you think that is my issue. trying not to use the wings but i need more range..do you have your lrs setup listed somwhere

+James Haywood 1.8 miles is terible for LRS. ou can run a LRS without an antenna on the RX and get out a mile or better before failsafe kicks in. Do you have the active element in the dipole facing up and the ground facing straight down?
