Aramaru 1837 Actually power A is making a wireless GameCube controller for switch. I’ve seen only 2 reviews on it since power A sent review copy’s but it’s coming out on November 23rd so check it out. It’s around $50 btw.

@Taktisch Its 10s of thousands of people. Also, Speed runners and casuals who just like GCCs all fall into the market too also less so. So its not a HUGE market, but its big enough to make some decent money on by continuously producing controllers. Hell, they could even bump the price up to 40-50$ and people would still be glad to buy them.

IMPORTANT: If you plan to use this controller for Melee - A LOT of people have been having problems with this controller. These include (but are not limited to), stick drift, bad button pads, X/Y offsets. Note my controller in this video does not suffer from these problems besides everything being super stiff. HOWEVER if you go out and buy this controller you may not be as lucky. It seems general quality control is super sketchy with this batch of controllers and that is super sad to hear. Please refer to Typo's Tweet + thread here: twitter.com/hrcTypo/status/1059653005228851200 for more. (Other GCC modders are also talking about it.) Many people are looking into this now but if you are picky about controller performance and feel proceed with caution with these.

I have X/Y offsets. In games like Smash 4 it's not problem, as it doesn't really detect it. However, it becomes a problem when I want to use it on my computer. The problem becomes very noticeable when I play games like Project M and Smash Flash. In this case, I stick to my original GameCube controller for the computer. I'm hoping Nintendo will address this issue and fix it, so that I can return my controller without worrying about getting another controller in a similar condition.

This has actually been confirmed to be untrue. It's a problem with Dolphin and the outdated drivers for the GameCube adapter and controller. Someone did testing over on Reddit across different operating systems and dolphin versions. Trying CEMU with it shows it has no issues. Same on native hardware.

Just ordered the controller and adapter today. Can't wait for them to get here. I've been using old reliable since 2006 but I think it's finally time I retire him. Thank God Nintendo actually sent out enough adapters this time and I was actually able to get one. Edit: My stuff came a day early. I was concerned after hearing people were having problems with the controllers but both controller and adapter work perfectly. I'm pretty happy.

It's freaking awesome that they re-issued the NGC controller; I have to emulate since my TV is out of commission and I don't have a way to hook my RVL-001 Wii up to my PC, and even when my TV was still working, I was stuck with (what I now know were) crappy chinesium NGC controllers, 'cause I was not about to pay what people wanted for even used OEM controllers. As of the 10th, I'll have two of the SSBM Ultimate controllers, and hopefully in December, I can make it four.

These gen 2 GameCube controllers have slight differences from the gen 1 controllers, from what I know the gen 2 has slightly taller buttons and has no braces on the triggers something the gen 1 controller’s have (but you can still install triggers if you have any). And I don’t know if it’s because there new but the sticks are much tighter than the gen 1 sticks. I’ve also heard that gen 2 controllers were made with competitive smash play in mind.

Smash 4 controllers/Sm5sh controllers have subtle differences to original gamecube controllers. They have taller buttons and lack trigger braces for two I know off the top of my head.

@@asadmirza9346 near the end of the video he talks about it a tad. They're little metal braces that go on the triggers that make going up and down super clean and reliable, keep them straight. Nintendo hasn't included these in reprints for some reason.

I really like my Smash 4 controller. I use it as my main controller actually. I probably put about a thousand hours of use into it and it's still going strong. If this is basically the same thing I can tell you it's good purchase.

The gamecube controller is my favorite controller of all times, I can use on my Wii for gamecube games, Wii compatible games and some homebrew apps, Wii U + adapter for playing smash Wii U and emulators of my pc, I have my old gamecube controller and the smash4 edition, this controllers are very useful and cheap (if you live in usa) in Mexico the peso has devaluated, the Smash4 controller only cost $600 but the new ultimate controller costs $1000 pesos :(

I was very excited to get this! As I had enough money, I wanted to get it on Friday, following the Smash Direct on Thursday, since both it and the Adapter (as well as the specially designed Switch with Smash Bros. on it, with the Dock and the JoyCons) were released, but I had a lot going on. So I waited until Saturday to get it. I didn't get the Adapter because I already own one; however, if my current one breaks, I'll consider getting one of the official Nintendo adapters.
