Can that soap be rebatched
@EssentialSoap5 жыл бұрын
@@chamesehankins2440 not really as it will just sweat again and due to the salt you would have to add a lot of water and still salt don't like to be rebatched

I honestly thought that all soaps are made with lye but the organic soaps are made with fruit products that turn into lye. Is this correct?
@EssentialSoap5 жыл бұрын
No. You must have lye to turn oil into soap. You can buy melt and pour which has already had the process done

No lye, no soap...ever.

Oh wow! Bramble Berry takes FOREVER to get your order to you. It’s rediculous! I won’t be ordering from them again.

Dear Kim, how do you keep your soaps so inexpensive? Other people who are making soaps from home and not paying special shop rents, utilities, taxes ect are charging 2.50 more for their most basic bars to $6 or $7 MORE per bar more and they are NOT using essential oils... cheap fragrances and certainly without your special blessings. Is it because you are purchasing in bulk that your prices are lower? Have you done the math as to price per bar including labor and rents ect? I know here even with what is almost considered a retail vacancy crisis it is about $3000 a month for 1000SQ feet of space... plus then you pay a local biz tax on income starting at 14% then going up to 27% after you hit over 500K...utilities...insurance, employees, workmans compensation ect. I am just starting out but I will grow slow and do EVERYTHING I can to stay home based as long as possible. So again... are you charging enough?

My rent is 350 a month. I buy oils in 50 pound cubes. I don't use expensive oils as base oils. I use them in superfat only.
