Last month we all saw the name of Senegal on the tv, social media and in newspapers. 500 Senegalese died in the sea because they tried to go to Europe by tiny boats filled with too many people . My people dont see any perspective in the beautiful country of Senegal that is full of resources they dont have acces to. Its other people owning the businesses, the land and even the sea and the fish.
This really breaks my heart and the hearts of all Senegalese people overseas. We feel guilty but we are not used to talk about it . My friends Laye Serrere, Lat Cisse, Daouda Ndao and I made a song about what is happening. We did that with the help of rhe amazing Rick Piepers
