Very detailed feedback man. I appreciate you actually taking the time. It helps a lot. The chorus is where I need to do some work. I have been having issues getting my original idea from my head to the guitar/vocals. So hopefully with your advice I can make it better. Also which "when I was you man" isn't hooking well? the first or last in chorus?

First of all, I'd like to say congrats. Pretty awesome song! One thing that really caught my eye (or should I say my ear) was the guitar part on the verse that was quite similar to John Mayer's version of Human Nature on Michael Jackson's Memorial (taking that you are a big Mayer's fan; I'm digging your Bold As Love tutorial) but on a different scale. Maybe it's just me.. Might want to take a closer look at that. Cheers!

One thing melodically in chorus: Try singing the 3rd line "was all that I did" with the same melody line as the first line of chorus (go up to that B again). This will solidify that melody in the listener's head. Otherwise, pretty chords and great rhythm guitar works.

i think it sounds pretty good the verses are great and so are the lyrics it's just the chorus i think what you play in the chorus on guitar could be better, i don't know it just doesn't fit as well as it could. still it sounds like it's going to be a great song
