I do understand NDA'S and stuff, but why are these companies so secretive about the development of movies, tv shows, and games? I definitely understand not wanting to show something until it's ready or leaks happening that are made with intent to hurt people because that's not ok (like the insomniac leaks), but i feel like more transparency or a few leaks here and there aren't necessarily bad for these companies right? Because its free publicity and most leakers (i like to think at least) aren't doing it out of hate and malice but quite the opposite, because they love these franchises or series and are getting people excited, which would make people want to purchase these products even more, thus more profits for these companies. Im not saying people should leak like for example the whole movie (obviously) but i think more transparency and less secrecy whould go a long way💜

I get your point and kind of agree but things like the gta 6 and hazbin hotel leaks are good examples of why most companies hate leakers. To be fair though the sonic community is pretty trustworthy with leaks and information in general…….most of the time
