This was such a great NSW side but it was all about Andrew Johns. Coming into this game without match fitness and just turning Queensland inside out was the moment he cemented himself as one of the all time greats to me. His pass to Buderus in the 75th was absolute bliss.

for sure the best NSW team, if u have Anthony (1), Cooper(4), Gasnier(3), Buderus(9) and Sir Johns(7), then u always have the QLD in for the unexpected surprise, just always magical. couldn't get enough of watching these stars play every time they take the field, sends shivers down my spine until the full time whistle is blown...wish i could turn back time to watch them play again...salute to you all boys, forever blues..

Has to be said, it was Brett Kimorley who lost the game for NSW in the 1st test. His kicking was woeful in a game where NSW fought back to lead at the death. if Joey had played it would have been a 3-0 seies thumping.
