The shape of that blade, although it's a little smaller, it resembles my Benchmade Delta Raider. It doesn't have a head adjusting pommel, it comes with a nice chunky all over kraton handle. The serious recurve on the Raider, means that the cutting edge is so much longer. It's a great and highly effective design feature.

I see a lot of people complaining about price. Quality things cost. This is not a Chinese eBay knife for 999. Spartan is also not a company the size of a Spyderco so they don't do quite the volume and can't give you the price is a bigger company can. What you're getting is a quality made USA product that would probably last you a lifetime. Have you priced at Snap-on tool lately? Oh wait a minute you guys are the one shopping at Harbor Freight

Now with all that being said he still could have been a special forces operator, but if he was then he's DEFINITELY making it out to be more than he ACTUALLY HAS DONE. I'm not hating but I don't believe all the hype behind him. Oh and one more thing, how can that blade be good for chopping, it has not the slightest bit of weight to the front of it like the kukri has.

No their reasoning for a $350 blade sheath combination makes sense. He's done collaborations with Spartan Blades before and released a blade designed as more of a concealed carry blade that came in kydex. But for the purposes and experience he's had in the military it makes sense considering where they are being used why they would go with just a nylon at first.
@Jsummer40045 жыл бұрын
@@d.a.harlan7015 dude stop, he just told us that sturdy plastic kydex wont hold up in the jungle but the plastic string nylon sheath will hold up just fine. Ridiculous, it's just a way to maximize profit. You probably also believed him when he said that knife is as good as an axe.
@d.a.harlan70155 жыл бұрын
Jacob Summer He never said the kydex wouldn't hold up but the fact remains that it will be affected by temperature and moisture whereas nylon won't. Also in tactical situations where you need to be as quiet as possible kydex would prove too loud. In regard to saying it's as good as an axe. Yea I agree that's going too far. I think he was just trying to point out though that the design of the blade was to allow for light chopping which would mimic a small hatchet.
@lovescamaros15 жыл бұрын
